Diagram generation: ref-arch-driven procedure + spec validator + KB enrichment
The diagram path now follows a documented standard procedure (lookup the closest Oracle Architecture Center reference → confirm components → author absolute_layout → spec validator → render → visually verify) and ships persistent guardrails so layout regressions can't recur. Persistent procedure changes (apply to all users, all sessions): - tools/diagram_spec_validator.py — geometry checks (CONTAINER_TOO_THIN, CONTAINER_PADDING_VIOLATION, LABEL_OVERFLOW_PARENT) run BEFORE either renderer (drawio + PPTX). Catches the subnet-collapse / label-overflow bugs that the post-render drawio validator missed. - tools/oci_diagram_gen.py + tools/oci_pptx_diagram_gen.py — call the spec validator before emitting any output. Adds mysql / mysql_heatwave type aliases. - tools/archcenter_pattern_lookup.py — scores against cached page descriptions (not just the 1-line summary), supports --queries for multi-fragment composition, and applies synonym expansion via kb/architecture-center/synonyms.yaml so "LB HA cross AD" matches "load balancer high availability availability domain". - kb/architecture-center/synonyms.yaml — canonical synonym table (load balancer, autonomous database, data guard, …) used by the lookup scorer. KB enrichment: - tools/archcenter_description_fetcher.py + 121 cached _description.md under kb/diagram/assets/archcenter-refs/<slug>/. Removes the runtime dependency on docs.oracle.com when authoring specs and feeds the pattern-lookup scorer. - 110+ cached .drawio / .svg / .png references for offline reuse, plus the OCI Toolkit v24.2 import (kb/diagram/assets/oci-toolkit-drawio). Documentation: - docs/skill/output-formats.md — new "Standard diagram-generation procedure (MANDATORY)" + geometry rules + the new validator entry. - SKILL.md option 2 — references the mandatory procedure. - README.md — describes the spec validator, archcenter_pattern_lookup and description fetcher, and updates the KB-health table. Tooling that backs the procedure (cumulative across recent sessions): tools/archcenter_case_runner.py, archcenter_batch_driver.py, archcenter_zip_downloader.py, drawio_visual_validator.py, drawio_fidelity_eval.py, harvest_drawio_icon.py, import_oci_library.py, oci_pptx_diagram_gen.py, oci_pptx_render.py, refresh_pptx_icon_index.py. Architecture
This architecture uses OCI Speech , an embedding model, Oracle AI Database 26ai vector search, OCI Generative AI , and Oracle APEX to transcribe meeting audio, enrich it with semantic search, and enable you to
summarize meetings from recordings.
The following architecture shows this deployment topology:

The solution ingests meeting content, creates transcripts, stores and analyzes text, and
surfaces insights using managed services on Oracle Cloud
Infrastructure (OCI).

This architecture uses the following components:
- OCI
Language
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Language is a fully managed, serverless AI service for
analyzing unstructured text using pretrained and
custom models. It supports sentiment analysis,
entity extraction, key phrase extraction,
personally identifiable information (PII)
detection, language detection, and text
classification, with options for custom
classifiers and custom entities. Access using REST
APIs and SDKs with sophisticated text analysis at
scale. Customer data is encrypted in transit and
at rest, and tenant isolation is enforced.
Pretrained models are regularly improved to
enhance quality without customer retraining
effort.
- OCI Speech
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Speech harnesses the power of spoken language,
enabling you to easily convert media files
containing human speech into highly accurate text
transcriptions stored in the JSON
format. You can access using the Console, REST
API, CLI, and SDK.
- OCI Object Storage
OCI Object Storage provides access to large amounts of structured and unstructured data of any content type, including database backups, analytic data, and rich content such as images and videos. You can safely and securely store data directly from applications or from within the cloud platform. You can scale storage without experiencing any degradation in performance or service reliability.
Use standard storage for "hot" storage that you need to access quickly, immediately, and frequently. Use archive storage for "cold" storage that you retain for long periods of time and seldom or rarely access.
- Oracle Autonomous AI Database
Oracle Autonomous AI Database provides an easy-to-use, fully autonomous
(self-governing) database that scales elastically
and delivers fast query performance. As a service,
it doesn't require database administration. You
don't need to configure or manage any hardware, or
install any software. It automatically handles
provisioning, backing up, patching and upgrading,
and growing or shrinking the database and is an
elastic service. Develop scalable AI-powered apps
with any data using built-in AI capabilities. Use
your choice of large language model (LLM) and
deploy in the cloud or your data center.
- Oracle AI Database 26ai
Oracle AI Database 26ai with AI Vector Search lets you query data
by meaning rather than keywords. Vector
representations (embeddings) capture the semantics
of text, images, audio, and more so you can find
similar content efficiently. Built-in SQL distance
functions allow similarity searches using vectors.
You can combine semantic similarity and other
search criteria to ground large language models
(RAG) for more accurate and relevant
answers.
- OCI Generative AI
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Generative AI is a fully-managed OCI service that provides a set of state-of-the-art, customizable, large language models (LLMs) that cover a wide range of use cases for text generation, summarization, semantic search, and more. Use the playground to try out the ready-to-use pretrained models, or create and host your own fine-tuned custom models based on your own data on dedicated AI clusters.
- Oracle APEX Application
Development
Oracle APEX Application
Development is a low-code development platform that enables you to build scalable, feature-rich, secure, enterprise apps that can be deployed anywhere that Oracle AI Database is installed. You don't need to be an expert in a vast array of technologies to deliver sophisticated solutions. APEX Service includes built-in features such as user interface themes, navigational controls, form handlers, and flexible reports that accelerate the application development process.
- OCI Identity and Access Management
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Identity
and Access Management (IAM) provides user access control for OCI and Oracle Cloud Applications. The IAM API and the user interface enable you to manage identity domains and the resources within them. Each OCI IAM identity domain represents a standalone identity and access management solution or a different user population.
